All About the World of Disney
The world of Disney has always been a part of the childhood of most people. Disney has always been synonymous to fairy tales, stories, magic, dreams, and believing. It is quite a sad thought knowing that there are people who did not have the chance to experience the world of Disney during their childhood. This would mean that they have been stolen of a more colorful and magical childhood in terms of entertainment.
The great classic Disney tales are classics precisely because they transcend the elements of time. They are always appreciated and watched by the succeeding generations. These stories show the value of family, friendships, trust, bravery, and love. There are a number of elements which Disney uses in producing its classic cartoons.
First are the Disney princes or prince. Of course, all the elegance, grandeur and allure that goes with being royal has always been a dream for children. Girls wanted to wear tiaras and gowns and boys wanted to ride horses and fight evil monsters.
The second is the funny and awkward but remarkable sidekicks. Disney will not be Disney without these lovable creatures. There is Ariel’s Sebastian, Belle’s Lumiere, Mulan’s Mushu, Hercules’ Pegasus, Simba’s Timon and Pumba, and Aladdin’s Abu. The presence of these endearing animals shows how friendships are extremely important and how being there for your friends no matter what goes a long way.
The third is the incorporation of songs into the films. Once you watch a Disney movie classic, the songs will definitely stick to you. These songs are masterfully crafted but suitable for children and adults to sing and listen to. Generally, these songs are very uplifting and happy.
The fourth is the use of magic. No matter how grounded to reality a certain Disney movie is, there will always be a small element of magic incorporated into it. The element of magic gives a sense of imagination to the viewers and reminds them that this world of ours does not necessarily have to be rigid. We also have a wide imagination and we must use it in an uplifting way.
And last but not the least of course is the victory of good over evil at all times, no exception. This is probably the best element that Disney imparts to its audience in the number of years that it went into this kind of business. The positivity that this way of thinking shows not only attracts more faithful viewers but also imparts very optimistic values to the viewers. It generally gives a feeling that all stories end happily.
In whatever way one may look at it, Disney has definitely been a large part of most children’s lives. In a way, the vibrant and magical stories of Disney have helped shape the way little girls and boys would look at the world – with great enthusiasm and imagination.
